The Brooklyn Navy Yard is home to a large group of artists and artisans and this diverse group of painters, printmakers, sculptors, installation artists, scenic muralists, and fine furniture makers help make the BNY a burgeoning art center.
The Brooklyn Navy Yard is undergoing its own transformation, from an industrial park to a post industrial park, with the new addition of a movie studio plus a growing community of fabricators and artisans. The Yard’s homeport is a vibrant addition to the creative landscape of New York City in general and Brooklyn in particular.
